HINSTOCK?S COLIN PINK LAYS DOWN POOL GAUNTLET
NEWPORT (Shropshire): Hinstock-based snooker player Colin Pink was the first name into the last 16 hat for the Worthington Newport Pool Singles Open, after he demolished Dave Worrall from the Sutherland in Muxton in three straight frames.
Singles and doubles players have until the end of August to play their respective rounds of 32 and 16 matches, although several of the games were scheduled to be played at the end of this week.
Each match will be decided over the best of five frames and Newport Pool League rules will apply. Match winners must send notification of the result by text message to 07831 123153, clearly stating the match score and players? names.
