ED RACING’S ABDULLAH AL-DOSSARI FINISHES FOURTH IN LATEST
ROUND OF BAHRAIN KARTING SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP
SAKHIR (BAHRAIN): ED Racing Team’s talented young Abdullah Al-Dossari finished fourth overall in difficult track conditions at the latest round of the Bahrain Karting Sprint Championship (BKSC) at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Abdullah al-Dossari said: “We finished the race in fourth place. The race was held at noon, so the weather was hot, which was very difficult and had a negative effect. I was not able to repeat the strong pace I showed at the previous round, but I am now in third place in the Bahrain Championship. This is my first season, so that is a good sign for next year.”
Father Essa Al-Dossari, who also takes part in select karting races and off-road rallies in the GCC region, added: “We plan to send Abdullah to the UK this summer to train with M Sport. They are one of the best teams in the X30 series, even perhaps in Rotax. He will undergo two weeks’ of training, including physical and sport training and general race preparation. That will stand him in good stead for the next season in the Bahrain and UAE Karting Championships.”
