KUWAIT CITY (KUWAIT): Kuwait’s Historical, Vintage and Classic Car Museum hosts the fourth Concours D’Elegance 2015 from February 11-18.

The historic car bonanza will be held at Marina Crescent under the patronage and attendance of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah.

This year’s event is dedicated to stylish, rare and precious cars manufactured between 1900 and 1975. Cars will be entered in four age classes and there are separate judging sections for the likes of Hollywood movie cars, American sports and muscle cars and Gas Money Garage cars.

“We acknowledge the support of our sponsoring partner Trafalgar Company – Chopard Kuwait, and everyone else who has made the Kuwait Concours D’Elegance 2015 possible,” said Eng. Class A at the Concours is open to vehicles built pre-1900 to 1930 and includes priceless pieces such as the 1924 Bamford & Martin Side-Valve team car and a 1930 Plymouth. Class B is for cars built between 1930 and 1945 and covers entries such as the 1933 Invicta S-Type 4.5 and a 1935 Bugatti Type 57 Aerolithe Electron.

Cars built between 1946 and 1960 are entered in Class C and include the likes of a 1958 Austin Healey 100-Six and a 1953 Bentley R-Type saloon. Class D covers cars manufactured between 1961 and 1975, with the likes of the 1971 Lamborghini Miura P4000S and a Bizzarrini Spyder Targa likely to feature.

Middle East Dodge Challenge Hill cars will also be on display with chassis numbers 002 and 003. They are considered to be the most powerful ever manufactured by Dodge. Owners will also display the first Camaro COPO base No. 001 and 002.
