2024 UIM-ABP European Continental Aquabike Championship
ROBERTO MARIANI EARNS FREESTYLE GRAND PRIX OF HUNGARY VICTORY IN GYŐR
Sunday, July 21: Current World Champion Roberto Mariani followed up his Moto 1 success on Friday evening with a Moto 2 success to claim victory in the Freestyle category at the Grand Prix of Hungary on Sunday afternoon.
Mariani was awarded 79 points by the panel of judges and finished the Moto 16 clear of Grand Prix runner-up Maximilian Martha. The Italian outscored the Hungarian on variety, quantity and style to continue his impressive run of form.
Massimo Accumolo rounded off the podium places with third in the second Moto and Portuguese airline pilot Paulo Nuñes and Wolfgang Strasser finished the Moto in fourth and fifth.
